About

I started teaching with technology in the fall of 1980 when my new principal, Mr. David Karr, asked me to teach the first Computer Math class at Centura High School in Cairo, NE. I taught HS math for 10 years. In fall of 1989 I started teaching math in higher education. In 1994 I took a faculty position at Western Illinois University and have been teaching math and teacher education courses ever since in Macomb, IL.  Another watershed moment, for me, was in 1999, when Dr. Roger Runquist, taught me how to make webpages. It changed by career.

I have always enjoyed teaching with technology. This site give me a place to share things.

I have been lucky enough to earn two awards.
